Lakeland, FL. Job Type: Part Time. Pay: $18.65 / Hour.

Schedule:

Friday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM;
Saturday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

As a Security Officer Access Point Attendant in Lakeland, FL, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols at a government location.

We look for reliable, agile, and integrity‑driven individuals who provide strong customer service and demonstrate teamwork.

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, credential checks, and entry screening.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping deter unauthorized access by verifying identification, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following post orders and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security‑related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access‑related events, and incident details in required reports, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives regarding security‑related issues.

• 1 or more years of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license (required for driving positions only).
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Minimum age 18 years for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
