Security Officer Lobby Concierge – Lakeland, FL (Part-Time)

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will greet visitors, manage access, and support daily security-related operations at a front desk. This stationary role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact and helping to create a welcoming environment. You will bring teamwork, integrity, and a people-first mindset to every interaction.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following site-specific policies and security procedures for a financial services location.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor credentials, issuing passes when appropriate, and maintaining front desk logs in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and assist with arrivals and departures while supporting orderly front desk operations and a professional environment.
• Observe lobby activity, report concerns to site contacts, and deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
