Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driving Patrol – Lakeland, FL

Pay Rate: $18.96 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sunday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours one week and full‑time the next—what matters is the schedule you choose.

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by performing security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and executing emergency response activities as required at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document observations, and share relevant details with site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct mandatory patrols—routine and random—through buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Support access control and visitor‑management processes while maintaining a professional presence and providing clear directions and assistance in a fast‑paced business environment.

• At least six months of security‑related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card and/or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Must possess a high‑school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories will be considered in compliance with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants must undergo a mandatory drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local mandates and may be required before employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
