Countertop Installer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Counter top Installer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise installation of various types of countertops, including granite, quartz, marble, and other materials, ensuring quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience with construction and fabrication processes, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

On Site:

• Measure, cut, fabricate, and install countertops according to project specifications and blueprints
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during installation processes
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement
• Prepare surfaces by performing tasks such as caulking, trimming, or surface finishing as needed
• Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Assist with demolition or removal of old surfaces when necessary

In The Shop:

• Assist with moving and organizing slabs
• Help operate saws, line polishers, and CNC machines (will train)
• General shop support and material handling
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace

Experience

• Proven experience in counter top installation or related construction roles with a strong understanding of construction site procedures
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and fixture installation
• Skills in various construction disciplines such as carpentry (including trim carpentry)
• Experience working on diverse construction sites with adherence to safety standards
