Location: Lakeland, FL
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 (Full-Time)
An established, nationally recognized provider of temporary and rental power solutions is seeking a Generator Technician to join its Lakeland, FL team.
This organization supports major commercial, industrial, and infrastructure clients across the United States and has built a long-standing reputation for operational excellence, safety, and employee development.
If you have diesel engine experience, strong electrical aptitude, and a Class A CDL, this could be a great opportunity to join a stable and growing team.
What You’ll DoPerform service, diagnostics, and maintenance on rental generators
Fuel, operate, and maintain generator equipment
Assist with installation of generators at customer sites (construction sites, telecom facilities, commercial properties, etc.)
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, coolant service, fuel system priming, inspections)
Order parts and complete service documentation
Occasionally travel locally to customer job sites
Provide professional, customer-facing service in the field
Class A CDL (required)
Experience working with diesel engines
Diesel generator experience strongly preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Understanding of electrical and mechanical theory
Background in technical trades, automotive, heavy equipment, military, commercial or residential electrical work is a plus
