Application Instructions: Adena is seeking a Pump Operator to support the Adena Construction/Theme operations. The Pump Operator is responsible for the safe setup, operation, maintenance, and cleanup of plaster pumping equipment used in the installation of plaster, stucco, GFRC, fireproofing, grout, mortar, sculpting materials, and other specialty architectural finishes. The Pump Operator works closely with field crews to ensure materials are delivered efficiently while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.

Position Description
Operates plaster pumps, mixers, hoses, compressors, and related equipment used in material placement operationsSets up and breaks down pumping equipment, hoses, and accessories in accordance with project requirementsMonitors pumping operations to ensure proper material flow, material consistency, and production ratesCoordinates with Foremen, Superintendents, and field crews to support daily production goalsTroubleshoots equipment malfunctions, hose blockages, and material flow issuesPerforms routine inspections and preventative maintenance on pumps, mixers, compressors, and related equipmentCleans pumping equipment, hoses, tools, and work areas regularly to maintain safe and efficient operationsIdentifies and reports equipment defects, maintenance needs, and safety concerns to supervisionSafely loads, unloads, and transports equipment and materials as requiredBrings problems and concerns to the attention of the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety DirectorFollows daily procedures as set forth in job orientations, safety meetings, and training sessionsAdheres to the company's safety policies and OSHA safety procedures to create an accident-free work environmentPosition Requirements
Considerable knowledge of heavy equipment operating principlesMust maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving recordSufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to operate heavy equipmentMust be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may at times require overnight stays away from homeWorking knowledge of methods to handle materialsOperators must have good eyesight, hearing and better than average coordination in order to operate both hand and foot levers simultaneouslyMust have the necessary dexterity and fine motor skillsOperators must have good judgment in order to perform complicated tasks and must be able to work closely with other crafts without constant supervisionUnderstanding and use of standardized hand signalingOperators must be alert constantly and observant of their surroundingsAbility to work in an environment where the noise level is generally loudAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyMust have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructionsEqual Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer
