The Field Service Technician will split their time between the field and the branch. The primary responsibility of the Field Service Technician is to maintain service and repair the company’s mechanical equipment in the field including pumps, generators and related equipment. Finally, the Field Service Technician shall serve as a trainer/mentor to the mechanic team.

- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining the company’s diesel pumps, fleet and mechanical equipment
- Performing quality checks on repaired equipment items
- Maintaining service order processes, providing descriptions of repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment, and ensuring the appropriate paperwork is filed.
- Performing repairs and maintenance on equipment at job sites when needed
- Procuring parts and supplies as required
- Train new hires/current mechanic team
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card required.
- Appropriate equipment repair certification desired
- Experience in servicing and repairing pumps is desired.
- Experience with electric motors a plus!
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements.
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
