General Maintenance Associate
Pay starting at $22 an hour and can vary depending on experience!
ScheduleMonday – Friday / 7:30am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities- Follow all company mandated safety policies.
- Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safe operating procedures.
- Observe vital safety precautions for shipping and receiving of rental equipment, purchase equipment, parts & accessories.
- Properly package equipment to transport safely to customer sites.
- Involvement in equipment repair & rebuilding including electrical, hydraulic & mechanical aspects of the Fusion equipment.
- Maintaining Fusion equipment with frequent fluid changes, filter changes, and replacement of wear and tear parts.
- Follow proper check in & check out procedures for rental equipment & accessories.
- Troubleshoot Fleet for needed repairs & maintenance.
- Follow housekeeping policies.
- Operation of power tools, including grinding, cutting, sanding, drilling, etc.
- Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
- Prior mechanic experience is preferred but not required, training provided.
- Experience in operating, troubleshooting & repairing hydraulic equipment.
- Experience in operating, troubleshooting & repairing electrical components.
- Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs.
- Experience and ability to work with power industrial tools.
- Experience in operation of power industrial trucks / forklifts.
- The ability to work in a shop or field environment.
- Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced challenging customer service environment.
- The ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.
- Familiarity with McElroy Fusion equipment is a plus.
$16.53 - $24.81
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles or Hourly for all other roles.
