Service Technician

Putzmeister is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to support our concrete pumps and material placing systems in the field. In this technical & maintenance role, you'll install, commission, troubleshoot, and repair complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems for construction, tunneling, mining, and industrial customers. You will perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, and equipment upgrades while providing on-site training and support. Collaborate with global engineering teams in an engineering-driven, safety-focused culture that values practical innovation and long-term customer partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service Putzmeister concrete pumps and material handling equipment at customer sites
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections on fleet and customer equipment
• Support customers with on-site training, start-up assistance, and technical guidance
• Document all service activities, parts usage, and findings in service reports and systems
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and parts teams to resolve complex technical issues
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance standards while working in demanding field environments
