Family Support Specialist

North American Family Institute (NAFI), a national non‑profit human services agency, is seeking a full‑time Family Support Specialist to assist with the delivery of an evidenced‑based model, Functional Family Therapy – Foster Care (FFT‑FC), to foster families and permanency families in Polk, Hardee and Highlands County, Florida.

Assist family therapists with in‑home intensive family therapy to foster families and permanency families during non‑traditional work hours.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related human service field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with adolescents.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Computer experience and familiarity with electronic health records.
• Ability to work a non‑traditional/flexible schedule
  , including evenings and weekends.
• Eligibility to work with children and adolescents, including completion of background checks and abuse screenings.

Job Type: Full‑time

Hourly Compensation: $21.63 an hour

Work Location: Lakeland, Florida. Must be willing to provide services to families in Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties, as needed.
