Peace River Center is seeking a Partners in Protection team member to support clients experiencing mental health, substance use, and trauma-related challenges. In this community-based role, you will provide outreach, education, safety planning, and linkage to crisis, counseling, and victim services. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate care, and advocate for client needs while maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to confidentiality and compliance standards.

This position is ideal for mission-driven professionals passionate about empowering individuals and families and strengthening community mental health and safety in Central Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outreach and education to individuals and families impacted by mental health, substance use, and trauma
  • Conduct client screenings and safety planning, including risk assessment and crisis response coordination
  • Link clients to appropriate inpatient, outpatient, mobile response, and community-based services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate individualized care plans
  • Advocate for client needs within community and healthcare systems
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client documentation
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, confidentiality, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings
  • Build partnerships with community agencies, law enforcement, and victim service providers
  • Support data collection and reporting to improve program outcomes
