As part of the Data and AI team, you will serve as a Sr Software Engineer, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable AI solutions and frameworks that leverage generative‑AI technologies for transformative business impact.

Your Impact
  • Own the development and enhancement of AI platforms by integrating knowledge bases, tools, and innovative features to address evolving business needs.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver user‑facing AI solutions.
  • Research and implement advancements in AI technologies to drive innovation, enhance functionality, and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prototype and test advanced AI solutions, including multi‑agent systems, to solve complex business challenges effectively.
  • Define and track KPIs and create reports to demonstrate the value and impact of AI initiatives.
  • Lead efforts to integrate external systems and tools into AI platforms while ensuring seamless compatibility and optimal user experience.
  • Gather user feedback and continuously improve AI tools, including integrating external systems for seamless compatibility.
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and identifying opportunities for future‑proof AI systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another analytical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise‑level applications.
  • 4+ years of experience with .NET and C# development.
  • 2+ years of experience with TFS/Git code management, Dev Ops integration, CI/CD pipelines, or related tools.
  • Experience building production AI/LLM applications (RAG, function calling, agent frameworks).
  • Experience using AI orchestration frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, Lang Chain, or Autogen.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET and C# development.
  • 4+ years of experience with front‑end development using frameworks such as React.js or Angular.js.
  • 1+ year of experience with Azure services like Azure Function Apps, Azure App Services, Azure Static Web App.
  • 1+ year of experience using Azure AI Services such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience building highly scalable systems and performance tuning them.

Year‐End Bonus:
Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro‑rated in the first year) each year to associates who remain employed through the issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as the 13th month of pay in the potential annual pay with bonus line above.
