We're hiring a Lead Software Engineer for our Pharmacy Core Platform team. In this role, you'll lead platform modernization, automation, and operational excellence initiatives supporting critical Pharmacy technologies, including Enterprise Rx, Middleware, Cloud, and Dev Ops platforms. You'll partner with engineering, architecture, and wider technology teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions while mentoring engineers and driving technical best practices.

Your expertise will help advance our cloud readiness, resiliency, automation, and platform modernization strategy.

Location:

Hybrid (Lakeland, FL): To support our hybrid work model, candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a commutable distance of Lakeland, FL.

Your Impact

* Lead the architecture, modernization, and operational support of Enterprise Rx and related Pharmacy platform solutions, focusing on reliability, resiliency, security, scalability, and performance.

* Provide technical leadership and mentoring through architecture reviews, solution design, engineering standards, and best practices.

* Lead middleware administration, platform engineering, and modernization initiatives across Pharmacy systems.

* Design, implement, and support highly available middleware, integration, and application hosting platforms.

* Drive adoption of Dev Ops, automation, cloud-first practices, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.

* Analyze Pharmacy systems to identify opportunities for performance optimization, scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency.

* Lead technical design discussions and collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, development, and business teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

* Contribute to long-term platform strategies focused on modernization, cloud readiness, automation, and resiliency.

* Lead resolution of highly complex platforms, middleware, and production issues.

* Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and engineering standards.

* Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for assigned platforms and automation workflows.

* Participate in the team's 24x7 on-call rotation.
