Truck Driver CDL A

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Lakeland, FL. Offer weekly pay of $1600 or more, with hourly rate $22.50, 75% traveling, hotels provided, performance bonus, paid training, and a varying schedule.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards, maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading of freight as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle checks, DOT physical, and Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Arrive with Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.

• Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days.
