Adena is seeking a Class A CDL/Semi Driver to support the safe and efficient transportation of construction materials and equipment to and from job sites across Florida and surrounding regions. This role is essential in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards while handling a variety of loads, including structural steel and heavy equipment.

Position Description
Load and unload various types of heavy equipment using appropriate trucks and trailersTransport structural steel, building materials, and permitted loads to designated project sitesFollow established load securement practices to ensure materials are transported safelyInspect trucks and trailers for mechanical issues and safety concerns; perform routine preventative maintenanceOperate vehicles in full compliance with FMCSA and DOT safety regulationsAccurately document and log driving hours, rest periods, and required reports in accordance with DOT guidelinesPlan routes effectively and meet delivery schedules across interstate and intrastate routesEnsure all vehicle and equipment safety devices are functioning properlyAdhere to company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environmentPerform other duties as assignedPosition Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a Class A commercial vehicle requiredValid Class A CDL requiredClean driving record for the past 3 years (no violations)Heavy equipment experience requiredMust maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving recordMust maintain Class A CDL and medical cardExcellent communication skillsMust possess good time management skillsMust have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructionsEqual Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer
