Operate a Class8 tractor‑trailer to provide safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries to store locations as part of our company fleet. Home daily 5‑day work week, no weekends. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Operate a commercial Class8 tractor‑trailer to complete safe, timely, and accurate route deliveries in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
- Utilize electric pallet jacks and lift gates to load, unload, and deliver merchandise to designated store locations.
- Follow assigned routes, stops, and schedules to ensure efficient deliveries within set time frames.
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, maintain Hours of Service logs, and comply with FMCSA regulations.
- Secure all loads, vehicle doors, and alarms before and after each stop; ensure proper delivery verification and manage returned merchandise.
- Assist with various delivery routes as needed to support operational requirements.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations, logbook, and vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean MVR and a valid DOT physical status.
- Must pass pre‑employment and random drug and alcohol tests.
- Hold a current ClassA CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
