Position OverviewCentrex Technical Sales is seeking an organized and motivated general warehouse associate to join our team. The warehouse associate will assist the Warehouse Manager and other members of the warehouse team in ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. Responsibilities include packaging orders, preparing them for delivery, making deliveries via truck or flatbed, operating heavy machinery, and driving equipment.
Inventory Management- Receive, sort, and organize incoming stock, storing it in designated locations.
- Process inventory for delivery, ensuring accuracy.
- Move inventory and materials throughout the facility.
- Stack and organize large bulk items.
- Update inventory logs and documentation.
- Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
- Package items and label them correctly for shipment.
- Deliver orders to customers in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.
- Move materials from facilities to workstations, pick‑up locations, or other locations.
- Operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts, to move and store inventory (if qualified).
- Wear appropriate safety gear at all times.
- Ensure the workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles.
- Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and deliver it to the proper locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work as an active team member to achieve team goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- License or certification to operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklift) as required by state regulations.
- Ability to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds or more.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with inventory software and the ability to input data accurately.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to monitor inventory quality.
- Highly organized with efficient storage practices.
- Ability to follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as mandated by the organization and state.
