Warehouse Laborer

The Warehouse Laborer position is responsible for storage, maintenance, and packing of materials, and preparation of orders efficiently and profitably. The role may include driving to job sites using personal or company vehicles, operating machinery in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining safety standards. An open schedule with overtime available is required.

• Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders
• Pull materials and place them in the delivery area; assist with deliveries as needed
• Maintain inventory controls
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor
• Re-build lights by changing batteries, installing new batteries, and light repairs
• General warehouse cleanup – sweeping, organizing, etc.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Perform all other duties as assigned

• Forklift certification
• Working knowledge of MOT operations
• High School Diploma or GED

• Pass initial drug screening and background check

• Communicate clearly both written and verbally
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
• Capable of working individually and as a team with other employees
• Adjust to changing work schedules and work overtime
• Work safely outdoors and under adverse environmental and weather conditions
• Frequently lift at least 50 pounds; manual labor may be required
• Operate hand/power tools
• Work from elevated platforms, ladders or truck beds
