Lakeland, FL | Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm

• Manage multiple Supervisors and 60 to 75 hourly associates in a 100,000 square foot warehouse
• Plan, monitor, and execute staffing schedules and adjust as needed to ensure proper staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives
• Manage inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
• Maintain productivity, customer service, and safety standards daily
• Provide superior customer service and maintain professional and courteous relations with strategic partners
• Train, coach, mentor and develop staff to achieve business objectives while providing career-developing opportunities; conduct performance reviews
• Manage revenue and expenses compared to budget; manage and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Communicate to operations’ staff in areas such as: objectives, policies, procedures, safety methods, practices, programs, etc.
• Verify that all required paperwork related to shipping and receiving is accurate and maintained
• Maintain communication with customers to ensure requests for service are timely
• Utilize systems to track associate performance and provide feedback related to performance promptly
• Strive for continuous improvement of overall cross-dock operations

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field highly preferred
• High School Diploma/GED required
• 8 years’ of leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment; with at least 4 years of supervisory experience required
• Must have prior experience utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS), material handling equipment, and/or various storage systems
• LEAN experience preferred
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  
  Proven experience interfacing directly with external clients and collaborating with other departments across the organization to build strong cross‑functional partnerships
• Possess a history of growing responsibilities within a warehouse/distribution environment
• Experience utilizing data to identify and understand problems within environment and execute solutions
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and set priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including:
  Word, Excel and Power Point
• Prior experience evaluating and executing changes in warehouse volumes in order to make the best overall value decisions considering cost, client expectations, driver needs, and other factors
