We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join our team at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair and tire sales centers in the Orange Park, FL area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As leaders in undercar repairs, Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose and perform a wide variety of services on customers’ vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

• Undercar repair, including brakes, struts and shocks
• Completing state‑mandated inspections
• Changing oil and filters, checking fluids
• Replacing worn parts, dismounting/mounting/rotating/balancing tires
• Lifting and moving heavy items (over 50 lbs) and performing other repetitive duties

• Minimum 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Minimum 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent education, training or experience
• Strong personal tool set for undercar repairs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated repetitive motions consistent with vehicle maintenance
• Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing over 50 lbs
• Preferred:
  State inspection license(s)
• Preferred: ASE certification in Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair (G1), Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5)
