Auto Mechanic – Lakeside Location

Busy four location Independent Goodyear dealership hiring for immediate employment at our Lakeside location. Must have state inspection license.

• Report directly to Store Manager, Supervisor or Salesperson and primarily responsible for all auto mechanical repairs.
• Perform auto repair responsibilities including brake work, alignment, front-end repairs, suspension work, exhaust work, under hood services, oil and filter changes and basically all mechanical work assigned. Complete all work in a timely manner to create profit for the company and commission for the mechanic.
• Perform safety inspections on each car; any defects noted will be called to the attention of the store manager, supervisor or applicable salesperson with recommendation for corrective action.
• May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this job description, performing other related functions.
• Test drive customer vehicles and company vehicles serviced by you and other personnel, as needed.
