- Collaborate with a general education teacher or support staff to co-plan and co-deliver instruction in an inclusion classroom.
- Provide accommodations and instructional modifications to help students with disabilities access grade-level learning.
- Support students in participating in the general education curriculum with appropriate academic and behavioral scaffolds.
- Promote inclusive classroom practices that encourage peer interaction and a sense of belonging for all learners.
- Align instructional support to student needs so they can engage meaningfully alongside their general education peers.
Qualifications:
- Special education teaching licensure or certification required where applicable.
- Experience supporting students with disabilities in an inclusion or co-taught classroom setting.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and classroom support staff.
- Strong skill in providing classroom-based accommodations and modifications tied to student needs.
- Ability to support students' access to the general education curriculum within a standard classroom environment.
