Skilled Trades Partners is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician for a well-established heavy civil contractor in Lakeville, MA. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company that maintains a large fleet of equipment supporting excavation, utility, commercial, and site development projects throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drive trains
Service excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, skid steers, rollers, and other heavy equipment
Complete repair documentation and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications

3+ years of heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience
Strong troubleshooting skills with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Valid driver's license required
Welding/fabrication and CDL are a plus
