Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Lakeville, MA. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy construction equipment including dozers, loaders, and excavators. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drive trains
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative service on heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately
• Repair and maintain equipment including:
  • Dozers
  • Loaders
  • Excavators
  • Other heavy construction equipment
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately
• Inspect equipment for safety and operational performance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations
• Assist with field service repairs when required

• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician preferred
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and drive trains
• Ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment efficiently
• Experience with preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Ability to read service manuals and repair documentation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license required
• CDL license is a plus
