Job Description:

Northeast Alternatives/Sapura is an award-winning, seed-to-sale cannabis company committed to providing high-quality products while maintaining a safe, secure, and professional work environment. We are seeking a dependable Security Shuttle Driver to safely transport employees between designated employee parking areas and our licensed facility while serving as a positive first and last point of contact for team members each day.

This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace by providing reliable transportation, monitoring shuttle operations, maintaining the assigned vehicle, and supporting site security through observation and reporting. The Security Shuttle Driver operates under the company's Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) security requirements and company policies.

Shuttle Operations

Safely transport employees between designated employee parking areas and the facility throughout scheduled shifts

Operate the shuttle in accordance with all Massachusetts traffic laws and company vehicle policies

Adhere to established shuttle routes, schedules, and designated pick-up/drop-off locations

Ensure employees are transported safely, courteously, and efficiently

Maintain punctuality and dependable attendance to ensure uninterrupted transportation service

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and immediately report any mechanical or safety concerns

Maintain accurate daily vehicle inspection logs, mileage records, fuel records, and shuttle activity documentation

Keep the shuttle clean, organized, fueled, and presentable at all times, including both the interior and exterior

Coordinate routine maintenance and communicate service needs to management

Safety & Security

Monitor parking areas and shuttle routes for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security concerns

Observe and promptly report accidents, property damage, suspicious persons, unsafe conditions, or policy violations

Assist with access control by ensuring only authorized employees utilize shuttle services

Respond appropriately to emergencies by notifying management and emergency services when necessary

Maintain awareness of company security procedures while transporting employees

Protect company property, vehicles, employees, and visitors through professional observation and reporting

Customer Service

Provide professional, courteous, and respectful service to all employees and visitors

Maintain a positive attitude while assisting employees with transportation needs

Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments regarding transportation issues or schedule changes

Serve as a positive representative of Northeast Alternatives during all employee interactions

Administrative Responsibilities

Complete all required vehicle inspection forms, mileage logs, and incident reports accurately and on time

Immediately report traffic citations, vehicle damage, accidents, or mechanical issues

Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations and employee information

Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid Massachusetts driver's license with a clean driving record

Minimum of two years of safe driving experience

Ability to successfully pass a background check in accordance with Cannabis Control Commission regulations

Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Basic computer skills for completing logs and reports

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous professional shuttle, transportation, delivery, or commercial driving experience

Previous security, public safety, military, or customer service experience

CPR, First Aid, or emergency response certification

Experience working in a highly regulated industry

Cannabis industry experience is preferred

Veterans are encouraged to apply

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit and operate a vehicle for extended periods

Frequent entering and exiting of the shuttle vehicle
