A growing, privately backed organization in the Lakeville area is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its collaborative, high‑accountability accounting team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure across the full accounting cycle, visibility with senior leadership, and meaningful month‑end responsibilities.

• Experience across AP, AR, and the general ledger
• Strong GAAP exposure through hands-on month-end close work
• Direct access to senior finance leaders
• Clear opportunities for growth as the organization expands
• Ability to move into areas like FP&A over time

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Support month-end close
• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation
• Process and apply electronic and credit card payments
• Assist with audit and compliance schedules
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• At least 1 year of GAAP-based accounting experience
• Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and GL work
• Strong attention to detail and desire to understand the “why”
• Excel proficiency;
  Sage Intacct experience is a plus

Hybrid role based in Lakeville, MN

$55,000–$65,000 depending on experience
