Pay Range: $55,000 - $85,000 yearly

Job SummaryThe Accountant supports the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This role is responsible for routine financial transactions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
Primary Responsibilities- Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, approvals, and payments
- Support AP and payroll functions
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations (bank and balance sheet)
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with audits, financial reporting, and resolving discrepancies
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of financial data
- Support account payable processes, including coding, approvals, and payments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Flexibility to work additional hours during close periods as needed
- Proficiently be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP fundamentals
- Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and electronic record keeping
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain concentration and accuracy amid interruptions
- Effective interpersonal skills with a professional and team-oriented approach
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred - 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Must pass MN background check and fingerprinting
- Complete TB testing within the first 3 weeks of employment
- Shift: Monday – Friday | 8am – 4:30pm
