Interested in accounting, financial reporting, data analysis, or process improvement? Join Post Consumer Brands as an Accounting Intern for a 13-week summer experience designed to provide meaningful work, professional development, and hands‑on exposure to the consumer‑packaged goods industry.
As an Accounting Intern, you'll work alongside finance professionals to support the financial processes that help drive business decisions across the organization. You'll gain exposure to accounting, treasury, financial reporting, and business operations while building skills that prepare you for a future career in accounting or finance.
What You'll DoDepending on business needs and your interests, you may have opportunities to:
- Support financial reporting and accounting activities that help business leaders make informed decisions.
- Research accounting topics and assist with implementing accounting standards.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and insights.
- Create reports and dashboards that improve visibility into key financial information.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve team efficiency.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to solve business challenges.
- Researching and applying accounting guidance to real business situations.
- Building tools and reports that support financial reporting processes.
- Enhancing data analysis capabilities for the accounting team.
- Streamlining repetitive processes through automation.
Specific projects and assignments will be determined before the internship based on business needs and intern interests.

- Expected graduation between December 2027 and August 2028.

- Interest in accounting, finance, and the consumer‑packaged goods industry, with a desire to explore career opportunities with Post Consumer Brands after graduation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Previous internship, leadership, work, research, or project experience.
- Experience with Excel, data analysis, or financial systems.

Compensation for this role is $25.00 per hour.
