POSITION SUMMARY:The Manufacturing Assistant P erforms a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the efficient operation and organization of the company and its departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Create, maintain, update, scan, and organize manufacturing and operational records and files.
- Assist with production reports, schedules, work orders, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Review documents, work orders, job orders, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with document control, including uploading documents into the ERP system
- Create, print, and prepare IPs, travelers, drawings, and prints for job order packets
- Assist with vendors and customers regarding open orders, delivery status, Sales Order Acknowledgements and purchasing needs.
- Provide administrative support to quality, engineering, operations, and scheduling.
- Review Device History Records (DHRs) as needed.
- Assist with entering and maintaining customer sales orders in the ERP system.
- Create, review, update, and close work orders and job orders.
- Assist with creating and maintaining vendor purchase orders and related purchasing documentation.
- Order and receive tooling, materials, project supplies, and general building supplies as needed.
- Employees must be able to relate to other people beyond receiving instructions. Can get along with co-workers or peers and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor in a professional manner.
- Enter and maintain accurate, organized, and accessible records and documentation.
- Greet customers, vendors, and other guests and answer overflow phone calls.
- Identify administrative or documentation inefficiencies and assist with continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide general administrative support to manufacturing and operations teams as needed.
- Perform other duties assigned to support business and manufacturing operations.
- Represent the company, as required, during customer, internal, and ISO audits, as well as FDA inspections.
- Understand the sensitivity of the data handled by the systems under your control and take appropriate measures to protect it.
- EDUCATION
:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required - EXPERIENCE
: 2+ year(s) experience in an office environment preferred, not required.
