Midwest Veterinary Supply is seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Business Support Coordinator to support key initiatives across multiple departments within the organization.
In this unique entry-level role, you'll partner closely with our Enterprise Center of Excellence (ECoE) while providing coordination and operational support to teams throughout the business. From organizing meetings and training sessions to helping manage projects, documentation, and process improvements, you'll play an important role in keeping teams connected and initiatives moving forward.
This position offers far more than traditional administrative support. Because you'll work across a variety of departments, you'll gain broad exposure to how a growing distribution company operates while building relationships with leaders and teams throughout the organization. It's an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organized, eager to learn, and interested in developing a long-term career in business operations, project coordination, process improvement, or corporate support functions.
This is a 100% onsite position, reporting into our Lakeville, MN Corporate office.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as a flexible business support resource, providing administrative, project, and coordination assistance across multiple departments based on evolving business needs.
- Support the Enterprise Center of Excellence (ECoE) by coordinating project requests, tracking action items, maintaining documentation, and helping teams stay aligned on priorities and timelines.
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and other cross-functional activities, including scheduling, logistics, materials preparation, and follow-up communication.
- Maintain and organize business records, expense submissions, intake forms, trackers, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other documentation to support operational efficiency.
- Identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement, proactively recommending and implementing solutions that enhance team effectiveness and consistency.
- Build strong relationships across the organization and serve as a trusted point of contact for coordination, communication, and day-to-day support on a variety of projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or the aptitude to learn new technology quickly.
- Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a willingness to ask questions, take ownership, and follow through on commitments.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and provide support across multiple teams and projects.
- Previous administrative, customer service, internship, campus leadership, or other professional experience is a plus but not required; this is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a strong business foundation.
