Concrete Laborer

We are seeking hardworking and dependable Concrete Laborers to join our growing team in Faribault, MN. In this role, you will support all phases of concrete construction, including forming, pouring, finishing, and curing. This is a hands-on position that offers the opportunity to learn valuable trade skills, work alongside experienced professionals, and build a long-term career in the construction industry.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, eager to learn, and comfortable performing physically demanding work in an outdoor construction environment.

• Assist with setting concrete forms and installing rebar in preparation for pours.
• Support concrete placement operations by handling hoses, chutes, and other equipment as directed.
• Assist with finishing activities, including smoothing, edging, and troweling concrete surfaces.
• Help monitor and maintain proper concrete curing processes to ensure quality and durability.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment around job sites.
• Safely set up, strip, and remove concrete forms after pours are completed.
• Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, grinders, and concrete vibrators, in accordance with safety standards.
• Assist concrete finishers and skilled tradespeople with daily construction activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies, jobsite procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Travel directly to assigned job sites or report to the company shop for transportation to the worksite when required.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ pounds, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to attendance.
• Willingness to learn concrete construction techniques and industry best practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic experience using common construction hand and power tools, or a willingness to learn.
• Safety-conscious mindset and ability to work in active construction environments.

• Previous experience in concrete construction, general construction, landscaping, or general labor.
• Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and jobsite safety practices.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the trade.

This position is based primarily on active outdoor construction sites throughout the area. Employees should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and in various weather conditions. Daily tasks involve standing, walking, lifting, carrying materials, operating tools and equipment, and performing physical labor throughout the shift. Appropriate work attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) are required at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeville, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
