Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the  school year, located in Lakeville, MN. This role focuses on providing support in a high school setting within a CREED Classroom designed for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD). The schedule consists of two hours of direct teaching, two hours of co‑teaching, and two hours overseeing study hall each day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with co‑teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans.
• Supervise and support students during study hall periods.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with staff and families.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and promote academic success.

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License is required.
• EBD Endorsement is highly preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working with high school students and in special education settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and compassionately.
