Reading Interventionist Teacher
Lakeville Area Schools has a 1.00 FTE Reading Interventionist Teacher available at Orchard Lake Elementary School for the 26/27 school year. The Reading Interventionist will support classroom teachers in the implementation and evaluation of an evidenced-based, Mn Multi-Tiered System of Support (MnMTSS) for reading in grades K-3. This position is funded through Achievement & Integration and Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instructional Services (ADSIS) state aid.
Position Description/
Qualifications:
- Must possess or be eligible for a K-6 Elementary Education License in the state of Minnesota.
- K-12 Reading License preferred
- Completion of Mastery of an MDE approved READ Act training preferred
- Three or more years of teaching experience
- Working knowledge of Multi-tiered System of Supports and the problem-solving process
- Working knowledge of evidenced-based and best practice interventions in reading at the elementary level
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, school personnel, and parents
- Ability to use a variety of technology tools and programs including Fast Bridge, Google Suite, data warehouses such as eduCLIMBER, and instructional management systems
Salary and Benefits in accordance with the EML Contract (linked below) Salary Range: $54,123 to $101,459 (pro-rated for FTE and contracted days)
