Special Education Teacher | Lakeville, Minnesota

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state of Minnesota
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a K-12 setting is preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both staff and families
• Adaptable, resourceful, and compassionate approach to teaching

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate lessons tailored to students with varying needs
• Develop and monitor IEPs in partnership with the educational team
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Utilize data to assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements

• Middle schools:
  Early schedule, typically 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
• Elementary schools:
  Schedule will range between 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, depending on building start times (around 8:40 or 9:25)
