Position Summary
Intervention Services Tutor: 3.00 hours per day / 176 days per year. Start/End times TBD. Intervention Services Tutor positions are classified as B‑2‑1 under the 2025‑2027 LEAF contract, with a starting salary of $21.18–$25.38 per hour depending on experience.
Qualifications- AA College Degree or 2 years of College required.
- Experience working with students in a small group setting preferred.
- Provide targeted intervention support for identified students in reading and/or math to support progress toward grade‑level standards and benchmarks.
- Monitor and document student progress using district‑or program‑approved assessment criteria and instructional tools.
- Facilitate small‑group instructional activities aligned to classroom learning goals and intervention plans.
- Reinforce foundational and grade‑level skills introduced by the classroom teacher through guided practice and differentiated support.
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with reading interventionists and classroom teachers regarding student progress, performance, and instructional needs.
