POSITION QUALIFICATIONS- AA College Degree or 2 years of College required.
- Experience working with students in a small group setting preferred.
The purpose of this position is to support student achievement in math by providing targeted academic intervention and skill development for identified students. Working collaboratively with reading interventionists, classroom teachers, Deans and site staff, the tutor delivers supplemental instruction, reinforces core concepts, and helps create a supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and confidence. Specific responsibilities may vary by building based on student and program needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPer the LEAF contract:
Intervention Services Tutor positions are classified as B‑2‑1, starting salary $21.18- $25.38 per hour depending on experience.
