As a Kid Zone Assistant, you will engage with students before and after school, leading educational and enjoyable activities while ensuring their safety and well-being. The best part? This role offers the chance to make a real difference in students' lives while having fun every day! The work you will do is more than just a job.
- Works directly with and supervises large and small groups of children in planned activities throughout a variety of settings, such as: classroom, cafeteria, gym, computer lab, playground and while on field trips.
- Work with children with a variety of needs.
- Supervises children during transition, breakfast, lunch and snack.
- Assists the Kid Zone Instructor in preparing and implementing the daily curriculum.
- Maintains room environment by setting up, cleaning and storing supplies and equipment.
- 18 years of age, high school diploma
- Training or experience working with children in a group tutorial and supervisory setting.
- Interpersonal skills that lend themselves to a compatible working relationship with students and other adults in the workplace as determined by the coordinator.
- Possess basic academic competencies to provide tutorial assistance to the student(s) as needed.

SCHEDULE:- Position has varying hours per day / Monday - Friday
- Minimum of 30hours per week
This position follows the school year calendar, from September to June, with a total of 176 days + field trip days.
