Stillwater Area Public Schools seeks AVID Tutors to support AVID teachers by facilitating collaborative problem-solving among small groups of AVID students, using Socratic methods. Training is provided by District AVID Director under supervision of the classroom teacher.
Ideal candidates are current high school students (11th–12th grade) or graduates with strong knowledge in science, math, and English, excellent communication, and reliable attendance committed to a year of tutoring with 16 hours
