Job Description

An opening is available for two contract onsite Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) Center-based teachers in an energetic school focused on mathematics, science, and children's engineering. With engaging programs like Project Lead the Way Launch, the school community thrives on nurturing curiosity and STEM skills in learners from kindergarten through fifth grade.
As a key part of the special education team, you will provide expert support to students with emotional and behavioral needs. You will collaborate with a dedicated staff in a welcoming, specialist environment designed to advance both academic and social growth.
What You’ll Bring:
- Current Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or Tier
4) — this is required to be considered - Experience or passion for working with elementary-aged students with emotional and behavioral disorders
- Ability to build positive relationships and foster a safe, inclusive classroom
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, contributing to the larger instructional team
- Willingness to adapt to an evolving, hands‑on learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student
- Deliver engaging instruction focused on behavioral and academic success
- Foster positive classroom climates that support learning and collaboration
- Use data to assess student progress and make instructional adjustments
- Communicate effectively with families, team members, and specialists
