The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is posting to fill multiple Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Land Management student worker positions for the summer of 2026. Positions will assist and provide support to engineering offices throughout MnDOT by performing pre-engineering work as assigned and directed by the hiring supervisor. Students will gain hands-on transportation work experience in areas such as construction, surveying, design, project management, bridge maintenance, materials, environmental stewardship, water resources, hydraulics, and traffic.
A valid driver’s license is required for some positions.

- Perform pre-engineering work as assigned and directed by the hiring supervisor.
