Design/Build General Contractor of Agricultural Facilities is seeking a full-time Drafter / Designer with AutoCAD experience.
This position is responsible for preparing project design layouts and construction drawings.
Job Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $50000 - $80000 / yr
Required Skills- Strong AutoCAD skills
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong communication, organizational and writing skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects with full attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
Job Responsibilities
- Works directly with Project Managers to interpret project direction for the development or revision of the project
- Prepares project design layout, part and assembly drawings using AutoCAD
- Makes revisions and corrections to existing drawings when requested and as needed Work Environment
- Duties included are usually performed in an office environment. However, the employee may need to visit the project site to gather data, information and/or evaluate issues
- AAS Degree in Architectural/Mechanical Drafting and Estimating
- Minimum 12 months AutoCAD experience
- Assessment testing, background checks, education verification and drug screens are required as a part of the recruitment process.
