2026 Salary Range is $40.54 - $52.46 per hour, or $84,321.64 - $ annually.
Major Areas of Accountability- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with City staff, specifically planning, public works and finance departments, contractors, developers, consultants, and public agencies.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of civil engineering.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and complete work accurately on a timely basis.
- Ability to organize and communicate civil engineering ideas and concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and various terrains associated with construction projects.
- Standard work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional evenings during construction season or for public meetings;
- This work requires the occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and occasional listing of 30-50 pounds;
- Work regularly requires speaking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions, frequently requires sitting and occasionally requires standing, walking, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms and pushing or pulling;
