PeopleSoft ERP Finance Manager; Internal Office of Budget & Finance

Hennepin County's Office of Budget and Finance department is seeking a People Soft ERP Finance Manager. This leadership position requires expertise in finance, accounting, and People Soft ERP system knowledge at an enterprise level. The role is responsible for maturing the ERP ecosystem footprint by focusing on futuristic business needs and ERP system capabilities.

• Hybrid position: on-site at 625 Building, 625 4th Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55415, and remote as required.
• Work hours:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; occasional after-hours may be required during IT rollouts.
• Candidates must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin.

This is a full‑time benefits‑earning position. Applicants must be a current regular or probationary employee of the Office of Budget & Finance department. Limited duration employees are not eligible.

• Identify ways to use People Soft to streamline finance and banking processes.
• Stay up to date with new features and functionalities delivered by People Soft ERP system.
• Develop, plan, and execute a futuristic rolling roadmap for People Soft FSCM that solves business problems with automation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Oracle and collaborate with other public and private sector organizations to understand industry standards and best practices.
• Own the budget and make financial decisions for the APEX division.
• Partner with other finance entities in the county to ensure policy compliance and operational accuracy.
• Lead and prioritize work direction for a team of ERP functional analysts that support finance functions in People Soft.

• Ten years or more of accounting and financial management experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.
• OR Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business administration, or a closely related field, plus six years or more of accounting and financial management experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience.

• Four or more years of experience in a managerial leadership role.
• Four or more years of experience using People Soft ERP Finance (FSCM).
• Four or more years of experience in an accounting or related finance field.
