Fraud Risk Analyst

Responsibilities

• Managing, monitoring and coordinating fraud risk management projects for card, deposit and loan products
• Predicting the level of fraud risk
• Developing policies and procedures used to evaluate and control fraud risk
• Analyzing the potential profit/loss impact on the assigned product line
• Developing and maintaining the analytical framework and support systems for the fraud claim management and reporting processes
• Designing, implementing, and monitoring fraud detection rules

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically more than five years of applicable experience
• Experience writing fraud detection rules
• Programming experience in SAS, Python and/or SQL
• Comprehensive knowledge of all departmental data sources, and of fraud risk and operations management associated with the product lines
• Strong analytical skills relative to evaluating fraud prevention infrastructure and forecasting fraud loss trends
• Strong project management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications and data analysis software
