- Direct Reports: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Under the direction of a Building Leader and/or licensed teacher, this position provides instruction in technology and computer science concepts, supporting K-5 students in developing foundational technology skills through hands‑on learning with robots, 3D printers, and other digital tools. This position also supports technology troubleshooting, classroom devices, and student logins, ensuring seamless integration of technology into learning.

- Technology and Computer Science Instruction Support
- Support the delivery of computer science and technology, using district approved curriculum and tools such as coding platforms, robotics, and STEM activities.
- Promote digital citizenship and internet safety by reinforcing responsible online behavior, cybersecurity basics, and ethical technology use.
- Reinforce student skills in word processing, presentations, spreadsheets, and digital creative tools.
- Support typing skill development, emphasizing accuracy and proper keyboarding techniques.
- Attend required district‑led professional learning sessions to stay current with instructional tools, curriculum, and best practices in computer science education.
- Technology Inventory and Administration
- Track, manage, and maintain student devices and other computer science‑related instructional tools, such as robotics equipment and 3D printers.
- Manage student account logins and digital access in accordance with district technology protocols.
- Technology Support and Troubleshooting
- Assist with identifying and resolving classroom technology issues.
- Follow district protocols for submitting and resolving technology issues, including submitted IT Help Desk tickets.
- Other Duties
- Additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities may be assigned as needed/requested. These may include student monitoring during lunch, recess, and/or before and/or after school.
- Associate’s degree in education, technology, computer science, or related field required
- Bachelor’s degree in education, technology, computer science, or related field preferred
- Minimum two years of experience working with primary‑level students
- Preference given for prior school district experience
- Criminal background check required for hire
- Valid Colorado driver’s license or valid Colorado identification required

- Strong understanding of computer science concepts, including basic coding, robotics, and STEM activities
- Understanding of instructional integration in a classroom setting
- Strong instructional skills with the ability to engage students in hands‑on learning experiences
- Effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and structured learning environment
- Excellent organizational skills for managing technology inventory, scheduling, and reporting
- Ability to clearly explain and model technology use to students in an age‑appropriate manner.
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible with collaborative critical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities
