Job Description:
Seeking a Clinical Applications Analyst with specific Epic OpTime experience to provide analysis, support, and maintenance for mid-complexity projects and perioperative clinical applications. The analyst will serve as an Epic OpTime subject matter expert, lead collaborative initiatives, translate customer needs into feasible application solutions, and develop effective learning programs for end users.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level analysis and support for mid-complexity projects and the EHR applications affected by those initiatives.
- Provide hands-on support, maintenance, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting for Epic OpTime and related perioperative clinical workflows.
- Analyze and optimize Epic OpTime functionality, including surgical case scheduling, perioperative workflows, preference cards, and related application integrations.
- Lead initiatives and projects in collaboration with technical, operational, and clinical staff.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications and translate customer requirements into feasible application options.
- Act as the liaison between customers and support teams to resolve mid-complexity issues efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a high level of responsiveness and follow the service provider/customer chain of accountability that ultimately supports patient care.
- Develop, implement, and present educational and technology-learning programs for end users.
- Assess end-user performance during technology-learning programs to validate successful competency.
- Document work, communicate status and risks, and complete assigned responsibilities under general supervision.
- May assist with Epic Anesthesia and Lumens as well.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated Epic OpTime experience supporting perioperative clinical applications and workflows.
- Experience configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Epic OpTime functionality.
- Experience supporting and maintaining electronic health record applications.
- Ability to analyze mid-complexity issues and translate customer requirements into practical application solutions.
- Experience leading initiatives or projects and collaborating across technical, operational, and clinical teams.
- Experience developing and delivering end-user education or technology-learning programs.
- Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
- Must have one of the following;
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work experience, Associate's degree and 4 years of work experience, or if no degree must have at least 6 years of work experience.
