Position Summary

The Indirect Sourcing Lead is responsible for managing and coordinating indirect procurement activities that support manufacturing operations, facilities, maintenance, engineering, and capital projects. This role leads the review, prioritization, and execution of purchase requisitions and purchase orders for MRO materials, indirect goods and services, CAPEX investments, and operational requirements while ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies, budget controls, and business objectives.

The position serves as a key liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, driving supplier performance, purchasing efficiency, cost optimization, and operational continuity. The Indirect Sourcing Lead partners closely with Maintenance, Facilities, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely procurement execution and support plant objectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain, International Business, International Relations, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, indirect sourcing, supply chain, inventory control, MRO procurement, services procurement, or CAPEX purchasing. Experience managing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, expediting activities, and purchasing controls. Experience supporting CAPEX procurement projects, including supplier quotation management, scope clarification, negotiation support, and PO execution.

Experience working with ERP, purchasing, or asset management systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, EAM, Jaggaer, or similar platforms. Advanced Excel skills, including reporting, KPI tracking, data analysis, and pivot tables. Strong supplier management and negotiation skills. Advanced English proficiency, with effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting manufacturing, automotive, or industrial operations. Experience managing MRO inventories and replenishment strategies. Experience leading sourcing initiatives focused on supplier consolidation, standardization, and cost reduction. Knowledge of purchasing controls, budget management, and capital expenditure processes. Experience coordinating project sourcing activities with engineering and operational teams. Experience tracking and reporting procurement metrics, service levels, and savings initiatives. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.

Strong customer-service orientation and stakeholder management skills.
