Job Title: Production Operator 1 st & 2 nd shift

Reports To: Productions Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

As a Production Operator 2, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment. You will ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and adjust machines and equipment according to specifications.
  • Operate production machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Monitor the production process and conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment as scheduled or required.
  • Follow key operating metrics (KOM) and work instructions to maintain consistency and product integrity.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate production records.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Production Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vocational or technical training in manufacturing or related field.
  • Experience with specific types of production machinery relevant to the industry.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong knowledge of measuring tools and blueprint reading

Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 2:30pm- 12:45am
