Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm,
POSITION SUMMARYThe Finisher primarily performs hands‑on tasks, including laser marking, assembly, mass finishing, final cleaning, and chemical finishing of manufactured parts, while adhering to established quality systems, processes, and procedures to ensure an effective manufacturing flow, with accuracy, and fulfillment of all customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Adhere to the Quality Management System and documented processes
- Follow SOP's, Work Instructions, and processes
- Assist with training and cross training other team members
- Inspect and hand deburr parts using magnification/microscope
- Perform secondary operations, including laser marking, assembly, mass finishing, final cleaning, and chemical finishing
- Employees must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions.
- Can get along with co-workers and peers and respond appropriately to feedback from a supervisor in a professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and line clearance of work areas
- Suggest improvements for inspection work processes and methods
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
EXPERIENCETechnical training in the utilization of inspections methods and equipment, or equivalent experience, is preferred. Experience in Quality Systems in an ISO regulated manufacturing environment (custom medical device contract manufacturing preferred) is helpful.
