Press Operator Position, Start Immediately

Set up and operate press machines and related equipment to produce parts according to prints and work orders.

Inspect parts for defects and verify that finished products meet quality and specification standards.

Read and interpret prints or work orders to determine part specifications, tooling requirements, and to plan operational sequences.

Position, adjust, and secure material against stops, fixtures, or automatic feeders manually or with a forklift as needed.

Set machine stops or guides to specified lengths using scales, rules, or templates to ensure precise cutting and forming.

Clean tooling punches and maintain tooling components to support safe and efficient machine operation.

Compute data such as machine settings, using shop mathematics to optimize production, including cutting multiple sheets at a time.

Load finished materials into the packaging area and ensure proper handling of parts and products.

Pay and Shift:

Pay - $17.00 to $18.00/hour

Shift:

1st shift 7am-3:30pm M-F

6am-4:30pm M-T

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
